About me
Ahmad Jasim enjoys revolving his writing around contemplative questions of identity, deception, and morality. These questions could be approached from multiple perspectives, ultimately finding their way into stories that sit across literary fiction, thriller, and magical realism.
His short fiction has appeared in Pax Americana Magazine. His novel, Deception Beyond the Water, examines those ideas by exploring the intersection of addiction, cognitive dissonance, and the act of deceit in human nature, drawn together by the philosophical undercurrents that run through everyday life.
Ahmad was born and grew up in Canada, and has been a lifelong reader of fiction that asks readers to hold more than one truth at once.
